A NARRE Warren man was assaulted on Australia Day as he sat in his car in a McDonald’s drivethrough.
Detective Sergeant Gary Kear of Narre Warren CIU said the assault occurred at 3.25pm last Thursday when the white Holden Commodore sedan was parked in the drivethrough of Berwick McDonald’s in Clyde Road.
Det Sgt Kear said the driver was approached by two men and assaulted with a wheel brace and police were appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with any information should contact Senior Constable Kylie Holloway of Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
