Time for Casey to have a laugh

CASEY residents won’t be missing out on the laughs when the Melbourne International Comedy Festival hits town this month.
A special comedy roadshow will be touring suburban areas and Casey will get its chance to laugh out loud after the main festival finishes.
The roadshow showcases and celebrates the best of Australia’s comic artists, nurtures and develops new work, and presents the finest of contemporary international comic talent.
The line-up is yet to be announced but will feature both new and established Australian comedians along with a visiting artist from the festival’s international program.
The artists perform extracts from their Comedy Festival shows with work ranging from stand-up comedy to musical and sketch comedy.
Tickets for the Comedy Festival Roadshow are strictly limited and bookings are essential. They go on sale from 9.30am on Thursday, 26 April from the City of Casey Customer Service Centre at Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
The roadshow is not recommended for children under the age of 15.
