Man on arson, kill-threat counts

POLICE arrested an Endeavour Hills man on Monday after a house caught fire while his family was inside.
Rajah Theivendradas, 53, was arrested by Narre Warren Police following the fire at the Reema Boulevard property.
Police said the man’s two daughter, aged 16 and 20, along with their 51-year-old mother were in the house when the fire started about 5.30am.
Mr Theivendradas has been charged with six offences including arson, threats to kill and conduct endangering life.
He is set to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
