A WOMAN was bashed and robbed by a teenage girl outside a Narre Warren South supermarket last week.
Police said the 24-year-old woman was kicked and punched several times while waiting outside the Foodworks store on Ormond Road last Thursday.
The assault, which occurred about 7.40pm, was witnessed by several people, police said.
The Burwood resident also had her mobile phone and some cash stolen during the incident. Casey Detective Sergeant Chris Lewis said the attacker was wearing a white top and jeans and had short brown hair.
“There were a number of people in the area at the time who we would like to speak to. We believe no words were exchanged between the two,” Det Sgt Lewis said.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Senior Detective Shane Moodie on 5991 0600.
