Twins in trio awards

THREE Eumemmerring College students were recently recognised as part of the Premier’s VCE Awards.
Twins Kerrie and Melissa Penrose, along with Jade Cleggatt, were honoured for their efforts.
Jade received her award after excelling in Sociology. Kerrie and Melissa both received their Premier’s Award for Community Services.
Eumemmerring College’s program coordinator Julie Buzasi said the twins met the challenges of the Community Services Course with persistence and enthusiasm.
Ms Buzasi said she knew the girls would do well as they were prepared to go the extra mile to achieve their excellent results.
Both girls have since gone on to gain some casual employment in the nursing industry.
Ms Buzasi said Kerrie and Melissa’s work placement experiences in children’s services and midwifery would help them follow their dreams and pursue a career in nursing.
