‘Cowards’ drop bundle on Farley’s doorstep

A CASEY councillor has been embroiled in yet another smelly situation.
Councillor Michael Farley told the News he discovered a large amount of faeces on the doorstep of his Narre Warren home on Monday night.
The disgusted councillor said this was the first time an incident of this nature had occurred during his four-year stint on council.
“I don’t know why anyone would do this to me,” he said.
“But involving my family like this is unacceptable.”
Narre Warren Police were called to the house later that night.
Police said it was very uncommon to find faeces dumped on a resident’s door step.
Police will now be patrolling the area regularly.
The Springfield Ward councillor believes the “cowardly act” was deliberate and calculated.
“If people think this will make me quit council they should think again. Situations like this only make you stronger and I will not let them beat me,” he said.
