Kindergarten gets a boost

NARRE Warren South’s Strathaird Kindergarten has received a cash boost.
The local facility will use a $2400 grant to buy new multicultural educational resources and start a new environmental project.
The money is part of Telstra’s Kids Fund, which is allocated to not-for-profit organisations across Australia over winter, helping to enrich communities for local children and young people.
Telstra general manager Patrick O’Beirne said Telstra’s Kids Fund helped thousands of organisations build stronger, healthier communities for children and young people to prosper in.
“We can see that Telstra’s Kids Fund makes a real difference to our community. We are proud to be able to provide this assistance to the Strathaird Kindergarten,” he said.
