A creative retirement

THE brand new, fully stocked workshop at Hunters Green Retirement Village in Cranbourne East is a winner with the residents.
While mostly enjoyed by the male residents of the village, the workshop gives the residents an opportunity to create their own masterpieces.
It also gives them the opportunity to learn from other talented tradesmen, mend broken items, re-live their trade, catch-up with the ‘fellas’, pretend to be handy with the variety of tools, or just enjoy some ‘quiet time’.
Creating toys for the local charities is always a popular activity in retirement villages and the residents at Hunters Green have already started the task to assist Santa in providing toys to underprivileged children.
The workshop is just one of many features at Hunters Green offered to the residents.
Hunters Green Retirement Village is at 2 Rochester Parade, Cranbourne East and is open daily between 11am and 3pm.
