GRADE six students at St Paul Apostle North Primary School took to the stage last week to present a Wild West experience.
The youngsters from the Endeavour Hills school performed an original musical production entitled Westonville, The Greatest Show in the Wild West, at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong.
Performing arts teacher Jody Banks wrote the script – described as “a funny, exciting show set in the Wild West with cowboys, cowgirls, outlaws, can-can girls, Mexicans, a sheriff and even an Indian chief.”
The school choir and recorder-percussion ensemble also performed as well as an item called Sports Spectacular involving many students at the school.
