Imagine if your DNA could be linked to a centuries-old assassin – how cool would that be?
Well, the answer depends largely on how powerful your computer is.
Assassin’s Creed, released last year on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, has finally arrived on PC.
Players assume the role of ancient Middle Eastern assassin Altair and retrace his steps in a series of vivid genetically embedded memories drawn from a modern-day character whose bloodline is linked to the accomplished killer.
Altair breaks the Assassin’s Creed and must restore the faith of his secret society by performing dangerous assassin tasks in cities set in ancient Arabia.
Your character can literally climb, leap to and from, and scale the face of any building in the game, giving you a feeling similar to Spiderman, but without the comical attire.
Assassin’s Creed is a fun game, but to run the Director’s Cut (PC version) you’ll need a gaming rig with a lot of guts – which is something that not a lot of us have.
However, if your computer is powerful enough, you’ll be rewarded with a unique gaming experience that, despite being sometimes repetitive, is something you’ll remember for a while.
