THE City of Casey’s Volunteer Matcher Service is proving to be an effective tool in connecting volunteers with community organisations across the municipality.
City of Casey mayor Janet Halsall said community groups and individuals were taking advantage of the quick and easy-to-use program that allows informative, yet anonymous contact between potential volunteers and volunteer groups.
The Casey Volunteer Matcher Service is fully automated and allows both volunteers and volunteer groups to register their details, entering their specific skills, interests and needs.
Users can either register as an individual or an organisation.
The Casey Volunteer Matcher Service can be accessed via the Casey website at www.casey.vic.gov.au/volunteers.
