A FRESH flag and a new amphitheatre were unveiled as part of Eumemmerring College’s New Directions Carnival held recently.
Student leaders at the Endeavour Hills campus had been working on the project since last year and celebrated its success by opening the school to the community.
Visitors took in the new Unity Amphitheatre – which has been designed to celebrate the cultural diversity of the campus as well as promoting the tolerance and acceptance of everyone within the school community.
School officials said the community enjoyed the array of activities on show including information and food stalls, live performances, jumping castle and community agency stalls.
Campus tours, for prospective Year 7 students and their parents, were also provided.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan unveiled the Unity Flag that originated from a design competition won by Year 9 student Jerilee.
