PRIME Minister Kevin Rudd has been invited to bring his Federal Cabinet to the City of Casey.
The invitation was extended after councillors voted to do so at last week’s Casey council meeting.
Councillor Kevin Bradford raised the issue as an item of urgent business saying it was imperative that Casey wrote to the Prime Minister immediately to give itself the best chance of obtaining a visit from the Community Cabinet road show.
“It would be great to have the new Federal Government visit Casey,” Cr Bradford said.
He said Federal ministers could see how fast the area was growing and also inspect the construction of the Cranbourne Aquatic and Leisure Centre (CALC).
