PREPS at Southern Cross primary school have already started learning basic computer skills as part of their weekly computer program.
Dr Andree Rodwell, a teacher at the Endeavour Hills primary school, said computer skills are introduced to the children because it was important for them to learn.
“The sooner they start the better,” Dr Rodwell said.
“During each class they learn basic computer skills like operating a mouse and get to play some exciting computer games.”
