LOCAL resident Kaye Gibson had more than one reason to smile over the holidays after she won the Rotary Club of Narre Warren’s annual Christmas raffle.
The Narre Warren resident won the major prize of a trailer and its contents worth a total of $2000.
Now in its 22nd year, the annual raffle has continually contributed to the community with more than $5000 set to go towards many Rotary projects in 2008.
Westfield Fountain Gate retail manager Glenn Fernandez announced the winning ticket.
Peter Van Der Werff won a mountain bike for second prize in the draw.
Narre Warren Rotarian and chairman of the organising committee Richard Edwards thanked everyone who supported this major community service project.
