MEMBERS of the Hallam Red Cross came together last week for a fun food-tasting event.
Secretary Betty Keen said 11 members turned out to the social get together and enjoyed a range of delicious foods.
A food demonstrator from Word of Mouth ran the event and everyone enjoyed a meal of soup, pasta, rice dishes and yoghurt.
The group also ran a raffle during the demonstration and Ms Keen said everyone had a delightful time.
“There was oodles of food and very positive feedback from everyone who was there,” she said.
