GRADE three and four students from Southern Cross Primary School took part in the annual Gleneagles Cup on Friday at Gleneagles Secondary College.
Middle school coordinator Dr Andree Rodwell said the students had a wonderful, fun-filled day, competing in basketball, netball, volleystars and soccer against three other local schools.
Southern Cross’ volleystars team came first and each team member was awarded a medal to mark the occasion.
Dr Rodwell said the students were extremely proud of their achievement, as they had been training very hard for the event.
