LEADING sports podiatrist, with extensive experience of more than 12 years in private practice, Paul Dowie has been the chosen podiatrist of many hundreds of elite athletes.
After recently moving to the Mornington Peninsula, Paul has opened a clinic, Foot and Leg Pain Solutions, in Berwick.
A keen sportsman and champion junior athlete athlete, Paul later gained a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport as a member of the Australian taekwondo team and Australian Olympic Squad.
Paul also won the coveted Fighting Spirit Award at the 1996 Taekwondo Championships in Brazil before a severe competition injury ended his career.
Paul completed an honours degree in Science and Exercise Physiology, before studying Podiatry at Latrobe University.
“Most people spend a lot of time on their feet through work, sport and recreational activities and it’s amazing how many people just put up with aches and pains in their feet, legs, hips and backs,” said Paul.
“This can lead to permanent injury which could be avoided with simple, affordable and extremely effective and proven medical treatment.”
