Police continue hunt after school assault

POLICE are still on the hunt for a man who tried to abduct and sexually assault a 12-year-old girl at a Berwick school on Saturday 28 June.
Detective Senior Sergeant Larry Grimshaw said police had interviewed one person in relation to the incident but later eliminated him from their inquiries.
Det Sgt Grimshaw said the police were investigating more possible leads brought forward after extensive media coverage.
The victim was left distressed but uninjured after the incident, which occurred at Berwick Lodge Primary School at 1.30pm. Police are calling for anyone with information to contact Det Sgt Grimshaw at Cranbourne Police Station on 5991 0661.
