City flags Oz Day cash

THE City of Casey is planning Australia Day celebrations and looking to support up to four community events to a maximum of $3500 each.
The council is seeking expressions of interest from groups wanting to deliver a free community event in their local area on Australia Day, Monday 26 January.
The events must be held on Australia Day and need to be free to the community. The day’s event must be of cultural significance and be able to cater for more than 800 people.
The celebrations need to be organised and conducted by a community group or club located within the City of Casey.
Interested groups need to complete an expression of interest form and return it by 5pm on Friday 15 August. For more information or to receive a copy of the expression of interest form, visit www.casey.vic.gov.au/australiaday or contact council’s events unit on 9705 5200.
