Students celebrated the special event last week with several activities, the highlight of which was a dress up day.
The youngsters also invited their grandparents to school for a day and were given the opportunity to bring them into the classroom and share in their learning.
Teacher Rachael Rydqvist said some of the better dressed students were Kutay, who donned a cape and came as Superman, as well as Brock who came as The Hulk.
Missy looked splendid in her Little Red Riding Hood costume and even brought in some delicious muffins that she shared with her teachers.
Book Week also let students read a selected short list of books and vote for their favourites.
Ms Rydqvist said the school has also participated in a range of literacy-based activities promoting the importance of reading and developing a love of books.
