Olympic fever at Maramba Primary

OLYMPIC fever swept through Maramba Primary School this week.
Olympic breaststroke swimmer Helen Denman visited the Narre Warren school and spoke about her efforts at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
Students listened intently as Ms Denman talked about her silver medal which she won for swimming in the heats of 4x100m medley relay.
The team went on to finish second in the final behind the United States.
Local students Jake and Shantelle were also presented with medals of their own.
The duo received an Edwin Flack medal from the City of Casey for excelling in sport.
