Tune in to grants galore

MORE than nine organisations in the City of Casey will share in $34,700 worth of grants as part of the council’s general sponsorship initiative.
3SER Casey Radio will receive $6000 to go towards the rental of the station while the Rotary Club of Narre Warren will receive $5000 to assist with the Mayoral Golf Day.
The council has also allocated $2000 for the Shrine of Remembrance Foundation and $500 will be provided to the Herb Thomas Memorial Trust.
The City of Casey received a report detailing the success of the Christians Helping in Primary Schools (CHIPS) program and agreed to allocate $10,000 to the initiative.
The Royal Humane Society of Australasia Inc gives public recognition to people by way of bravery awards and will receive a $200 grant.
The Yooralla Early Childhood Intervention Service at Tarlina Children’s Centre will receive $5000 to go towards their volunteer access program.
The role of the program is to provide transportation for children and families to access the Endeavour Hills centre.
Beyond Disability, an organisation that provides community services to people who are housebound and school children in wheel chairs, has been allocated a $5000 grant.
The Berwick Church of Christ will receive $1000 that will go towards the Berwick Holiday Adventure Program.
The church runs a school holiday program for school children during the Christmas holidays.
