Off the train, on the bus

SOME commuters travelling between Dandenong and Pakenham will be boarding buses instead of trains this weekend.
Buses will replace the last two trains on Saturday night and all Sunday services due to level crossing improvement work at Ryan Road, Pakenham, and Brunt Road, Officer.
This will increase travel times by about 27 minutes.
Buses will stop at Dandenong, at the station bus interchange off Foster Street; Hallam at the car park near the level crossing in Hallam Road in both directions and Narre Warren at the bus stop near the roundabout in Webb Street in both directions.
Buses will stop at Berwick at the bus terminus near the station in both directions; Beaconsfield opposite station in Beaconsfield Avenue in both directions; Officer at the bus stop corner of Station Street and Princess Hwy in both directions and Pakenham outside station in Railway Avenue in both directions.
Connex advises commuters to check altered travel times with Metlink on 131 638.
