FAMILIES in the City of Casey are celebrating the launch of the first free mobile playgroup service.
The Mobile Playgroup Bus service in the municipality will run two days a week, using parks adjacent to community centres in Narre Warren South, Lynbrook and Cranbourne.
The program will be run by two early childhood workers from Save the Children and will provide a safe and culturally-appropriate learning environment for children.
The service is funded by Save the Children and Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceutical Pty Australia in partnership with the State Government’s Growing Communities Thriving Children initiative.
For further information about the Mobile Playgroup Bus contact council’s children’s services team on 9705 5200.
