FIRE fighters were called out to a grass fire in Narre Warren last week.
Warmer conditions and a slight breeze helped fan the fire which started burning a grassy area near the Monash Freeway at about 11am last Thursday.
Narre Warren CFA members were able to put the blaze out before it damaged any property.
Police also attended the scene and diverted traffic around the area being used by the CFA.
