THE City of Casey has approved a range of grants for local organisations.
More than $12,000 has been divided up among 10 groups to help fund various community events.
Groups to receive money include the Coastal Villages Festival, Cranbourne Lions Concert Band, Hope Christian Centre Casey, Oasis Christian Outreach Centre and South Eastern Christian Centre.
The grants were approved by Casey councillors at a recent meeting.
The Tooradin Foreshore Committee of Management was given $2000 for their Christmas on the Foreshore event.
Narre Warren North Uniting Church and Community Carols committee was allocated $1000 for a Christmas event.
