CASEY detectives are hunting a man who tried to abduct a teenage girl in Doveton last month.
Police said the 15-year-old Doveton girl got off a bus at a stop in Doveton Avenue at about 9.30pm on Friday 19 September.
She was walking home when a man began to follow her, police said. The man then grabbed the girl from behind and dragged her to the ground.
A struggle took place before the girl managed to free herself and run away.
The man involved is described as tall with a thin build. He was wearing a hooded jumper and light coloured pants.
