Narre Warren North Red Cross members Margaret Luxford, Olive Allen, Lois Williams, Edith Smith, and front, Evelyn Sonogan receive their awards.THE Narre Warren North Red Cross Unit last week celebrated 69 years of service to the local community.
About 50 members gathered at the Narre Warren North Guides Hall to help cut a birthday cake.
Service awards were also handed out to some of the unit’s longest service members.
Evelyn Sonogan and Edith Smith were recognised for 50 years service, Olive Allen received her 30 year certificate and Margaret Luxford and Lois Williams were presented with 10 year awards.
Mrs Luxford said it was a great day for the unit.
