POLICE are urging residents to lock garages and sheds at night, after a record number of burglaries in the City of Casey.
Police say they are facing an epidemic of thefts from garages and sheds, attached to homes or free-standing, and from vehicles and motorbikes.
Residents can alert suspicious behaviour to police by calling 000 immediately.
