Huge day of activity in Casey little aths

WEEK three of Casey Little Athletics saw another huge day of activity, with 464 athletes competing in a range of events.
The walking races were highly attended, with many new faces taking part in the event for the first time.
All athletes and parents need to be at the track to sign on for duties by 8am, with warm-ups for athletes starting at 8.15am.
The parents who help out each week were thanked, as the centre needs the contributions of at least 100 parents to ensure a smooth-running program.
Parents are invited to speak with the committee members wearing red vests if they have any queries or questions on the day regarding duties.
Forecasters have predicted hot weather again this Saturday so all athletes and parents are reminded to remember their hat, sunscreen and to take a drink to their events.
Training is held at Edwin Flack Reserve on Tuesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm for under sixes to nines and Thursdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm for under 10s to 16s.
For all inquiries contact Dean or Simone on 0458 284 154.

@BT Sub Sport News:NARRE WARREN

NARRE Warren little athlete Stefanie Fenton’s discus record highlighted the club’s ‘Bring a Friend’ week.
Stefanie threw 32.15m to beat the previous record of 26.88 metres.
This Saturday is the club’s fundraiser barbecue and some extra assistance will be needed at the barbecue in between duty commitments.
The club would like to remind parents that they must sign on for duty as early as possible to ensure that the program can start on time.
Families wanting to register can do so on Thursdays at training or on Saturday at the club tent.
Club training sessions are held every Thursday at Max Pawsey Reserve, Fountain Drive (next to Fountain Gate Shopping Centre), Narre Warren from 5pm to 6pm.
