POLICE arrested and charged three men and a woman last Tuesday following a three-month investigation into the cultivation of cannabis in Casey.
The Casey Response Unit raided eight properties throughout the City of Casey including Scoble Place, Ryelands Drive, Francis Court and Ingleton Court in Narre Warren, Pinnacle Way in Hampton Park, Glenburn Drive in Hallam and two homes along Kurrajong Road in Narre Warren and found hydroponic equipment.
Police seized cannabis plants, four cars and assorted drug paraphernalia from the homes.
Two men, a 43-year-old and an 18-year-old from Narre Warren and a 46-year-old man and 37-year-old woman from Hampton Park were all charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis, trafficking a commercial quantity of cannabis, possessing a commercial quantity of cannabis, and theft.
All four were remanded and appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 23 October.
