GOLFERS are preparing to tee-up for the 2008 Mayoral Shield Charity Golf Day on Thursday 13 November at Berwick Montuna Golf Club.
The Rotary Clubs of Narre Warren and Endeavour Hills will support the City of Casey and the annual event.
Event organiser Roger McGill from the Rotary Club of Narre Warren said he was hoping to attract a field of 220 players.
Mr McGill, who has been running the event for the past 18 years, is encouraging the community to support the charity day.
Cost is $50 per player and includes a game and meal.
Two fields will hit off in shotgun starts at 8am and 1pm.
Local businesses can also jump on board by sponsoring a hole for $350, which includes a game for four players. The major sponsor for the event is Bev Marks Beds Australia.
For further information phone Roger McGill on 0429 345 627.
