NARRE Warren police have arrested and charged six men with aggravated burglary, criminal damage and unlawful assault following an attempted home invasion in Berwick last Friday.
The men, a 19-year-old from Pakenham and five 19-year-olds from Narre Warren, have all been charged with one count of aggravated burglary, two counts of criminal damage and three counts of unlawful assault.
Police were called to an attempted home invasion at around 2.15am, and found windows smashed, a front door broken and a car badly damaged.
The men have been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court in February.
