ROVING clowns entertained crowds of more than 500 at Hallam Valley Primary School’s annual mini-show day last Friday.
The event ran from mid-day to 5pm, with amusement rides, face painting and jumping castles.
The money that is raised from the mini-show day, which is run by the parents and friends association, will go towards school projects like upgrading computer software.
Assistant principal Kerry Coffey dubbed the event a success.
“Everyone from the teachers to the students got their hands on deck and helped ensure the mini-show day was smooth sailing,” she said.
“Despite the weather, the day was a fantastic community event.”
A morning tea was held at the school yesterday (Wednesday) to recognise the efforts of the staff and volunteers.
