Fresh stone fruit at market

POPULAR stallholders Alan and Judy Smith of Taminick are back for the next Casey-Berwick Farmers Market on Saturday 22 November with freshly picked summer stone fruit.
Generations of the Smith family have been farming fruit orchards in Victoria for more than 100 years.
Market manager Geoff Rankin said the fruit was sold from a large and impressive tandem wheel enclosed tray truck that was a great promotion for the market as it stopped passing traffic.
The market is from 8am to 12.30pm, in the gardens of the Old Cheese Factory, 34 Homestead Road, Berwick.
The December event will be a special pre-Christmas Twilight Market from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, 23 December. Special orders for Christmas meats and gift presentation packs should be submitted to stallholders at the November market for pick up in December.
