POLICE have stepped up patrols along the Monash Freeway in an effort to crack down on speeding motorists.
Police issued 141 penalty notices to motorists travelling on Melbourne’s major freeways including the Monash, Eastern and Westgate as part of Operation Quebec on Thursday 23 October.
Police patrolled the freeways in unmarked vehicles from 5pm to 11pm.
