POLICE are reminding shoppers to keep their bags and wallets secure after a spate of purse thefts from Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.
Thieves have distracted shoppers and stolen purses left on the top of opened hand bags, police said.
Wallets are among stolen items from the Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre also.
Police said it was important for shoppers to ensure they watched their bags at all times, keeping them secure and making sure valuables were not visible.
