A POLICEWOMAN has been injured after attempting to arrest a man in Dandenong last Saturday night.
A 21-year-old Doveton man has been charged with assaulting a police officer and other assault related matters. He was remanded to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning.
The 49-year-old constable from the transit police was taken to the Dandenong Hospital with bruising to the back of her head.
