MORE than 400 people braved the rain to support the St Paul Apostle South Primary School twilight market on Friday, 28 November.
The Parents and Friends committee hosted the fundraising event in collaboration with the Endeavour Hills school to raise money for educational features including books, activities and smart boards.
Wendy Atkinson of the Parents and Friends committee said it was trying to get a smart board in many of the classrooms.
“It’s like a computer on screen, so it gives students an idea about what a computer is and teaches them what is involved in computers,” she said.
The market, held from 4.30pm until 9pm, included food, market stalls and rides.
Principal Helen Greenhill described it as successful and she was pleased with the number of people who supported the event.
“It was a great way to get the community together,” she said.
