HAMPTON Park Bowls Club shared the rink wins with Cranbourne, but ultimately lost by 17 shots in division-four action at home on Saturday.
Fred McBrian, Larry Simpson, Geoff Ladner and skip Graham Slight took control early to win by 12 shots, while Pat Moevasa, Lance Davis, Ken Cobden and skip Bob Woodfield were defeated by 20 shots.
A late rally reduced Jim Westwell, Jeff Crozier, Geoff Ampt and skip Neville Hendrie’s losing margin to 13 shots.
Les Unwin, Zac Storm, Andrew Brandolin and skip Lionel Williams held on to win by four shots.
Scores: Cranbourne (4) 14/99 d Hampton Park 4/82.
The Parkers’ division-six side hosted Dandenong City and recorded a comfortable 95-shot win.
Bob Meany, Jos Van Hout, Nic Wings and skip Rob Woff had the closest game with a seven-shot win, while Arthur Parish, Alan Wilcock, Allan March and skip Bill Webb had a commanding 33-shot success.
Ray Wood, Vince Kovacic, Sean McDonald and skip Greg Pentland posted a 41-shot triumph, while Gerry Cox, Allan Unwin, Bob Nicol and skip Bob Naismith followed up with a 14-shot victory.

The Parkers produced their first division-eight win of the season in style, thumping Oakleigh by 78 shots.
Willi Hofer, Rhonda Diaper, G. Lowry and skip Brian Diaper increased their lead throughout the day to win by 26 shots, while Rayden Storm, Rudy Oost, Jim Carmichael and skip Mark Paton won the first nine ends to set up their 25-shot triumph.
Len Bell, Keith McCarthy, June Damon and skip Bruce Pointon had a tough game, but prevailed by eight shots.
Rico Storm, Dot Carr, Lino Da Pos and skip Werner Melzer combined well in bursts to record a 19-shot success.

Hampton Park (0-80) lost by 32 shots to Dandenong City (2-112) in VLBA division A2, while the Parkers’ VLBA division-two Saturday ladies succumbed by three shots to Mornington Civic.
The Parkers’ SDECBA division-four team won two rinks, but went down by five shots.
Arthur Parish, Ray Wood, Christine Hendrie and skip Geoff Ladner struggled in an 11-shot loss, while Keith McCarthy, Ann Westwell, Geoff Ampt and skip Neville Hendrie took 15 ends to get in front to win by five.
Jim Westwell, Vince Kovacic, Andrew Brandolin and skip Lance Davis hung on to win by one shot.
