BERWICK Fire Brigade is looking for more volunteer firefighters.
Members are urging local men and women, who live within one or two kilometres of the Reserve Street station, to join the team.
Recruits will go through a structured induction and training program lasting several months.
Members said that as well as combating emergencies, the CFA offered a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and be part of an efficient and capable team.
The modern station has the latest fire-fighting equipment, including two fire trucks and two support vehicles.
The Berwick Fire Brigade responds to about 400 emergency calls each year.
For further information phone Captain Alan Boyd on 9796 1933 or Lieutenant Ken Fritzlaff on 0419 870 983.
