Craft Haven of Berwick owners Diana Della Bosca and Maria Tierney, who have been running the Adams Lane store for six years, said the volunteers each created a piece of embroidery for the quilts. “We put each piece together to form the quilt,” Ms Della Bosca said.
Every year the business rafflesoff a care quilt, with this year’s money going towards cancer researchand the charity Very Special Kids.
Ms Della Bosca said the store donated money to charities that affected women and children. “We are giving something back to the community,” she said.
