Duo on stage for treat

THE Drum Theatre in Dandenong will next month feature You and I – a collaboration of musical numbers by two of Australia’s most popular performers in musical theatre and television, Ian Stenlake and Rachael Beck.
Stenlake is known for his work in the current Channel Nine television series Sea Patrol, as Lieutenant Commander Mike Flynn, and his previous work of five seasons of Channel Nine’s Stingers.
He is also well known from his leading work in Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma and They’re Playing Our Song. Beck is still well known for her role in the ever-popular comedy series Hey Dad! and has starred in a line-up of popular productions.
She has performed in three seasons of Channel Seven’s popular television series It Takes Two, Singin’ In The Rain, The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, and opposite Hugh Jackman in Beauty and The Beast.
You and I will take audiences on a journey through Stenlake and Beck’s favourite musical numbers, intermingled with themes of love, life and new adventures.
