A ROAD rage incident in an Endeavour Hills car park led to a police pursuit along Heatherton Road earlier this month.
Sergeant Andrea Winfield said a row took place between two women, aged in their early 20s, in the Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre car park on 9 January at 3pm. Sgt Winfield said one of the women took out a knife and the other woman sprayed her in the eyes with hairspray.
A passer-by attempted to stop the altercation, according to Sgt Winfield. Both women left the car park in separate vehicles, with one of them travelling at 95km/h in an 80km/h zone along Heatherton Road.
Sgt Winfield said the short pursuit ended when police blocked the car while it was stopped at the Power Road traffic lights. The woman who was sprayed was treated at Dandenong Hospital. Police have interviewed both women. No charges have been laid.
