ROTARIANS lent a helping hand last Thursday to clean up the Berwick cemetery.
The annual event, run by the Rotary Club of Berwick, attracted more than 30 members.
The volunteers spent from 5.30pm to 8pm, pruning, painting, weeding, raking, watering and repairing seating.
The club’s members also enjoyed a barbecue dinner after the working bee.
Rotarian Sjaak Kusters said the club continued to support the cemetery clean-up day as it was the Rotary Club of Berwick’s way of giving something back to the community.
