Probe into head injury

POLICEare investigating how a man was left with life threatening head injuries at a party in Narre Warren.
The man was taken to Dandenong Hospital after the incident on Australia Day.
Police said a group of friends had been drinking in a pool at a private residence before the incident occurred about 11pm.
Officers from the police Homicide Squad are investigating the matter.
