SEVERAL trains along the Pakenham line were cancelled last week because of the scorching temperatures.
On Wednesday 28 January 21 trains were cancelled, 23 were cancelled on the Thursday and 36 were cancelled on the Friday.
A Connex spokeswoman said the trains were cancelled because of various issues.
They included a lack of available trains, a car crashing into a train on the Dandenong line, power shedding and heat-related issues.
