PREP students at an Endeavour Hills school have teamed up with Grade five and six students for the school’s buddy program.
The school buddy initiative at Southern Cross Primary School involves the older students taking care of the preps at recess and lunchtime in the playground.
Prep teacher Jennifer Graham said this year had been one of the most successful transition periods from kinder to school, with the students already settling into a school routine.
