DADS and their children enjoyed a splash and tumble at Casey ARC this week.
The Splash and Tumble program, which is run by the City of Casey men’s program and family development services, provides an opportunity for dads to connect with their children in a fun and safe environment.
The children, aged up to six years, spent two hours on Monday learning gymnastics, swimming, and co-ordination and balance.
The class is run at Casey ARC in Narre Warren every Monday during the school term.
City of Casey youth and family services manager Lee McIntosh said that supporting fathers was an important area of service delivery that was constantly growing.
The City of Casey is one of a few councils that employ male staff to address the needs of local fathers through a range of activities for dads and their children.
